Catherine Freeman
Catherine Freeman is an evangelist and musician affiliated with Restoration of Life Christian Center in Petal, Mississippi. She is a retired employee of the State of Mississippi, having concluded her career in 2010. Catherine is a dedicated mother to four children—Beverly, Mellody, Rodney, and Monique—and proud grandmother to ten grandchildren. She attended Prentiss Junior College, Prentiss, MS, 1965-1966, Malcolm X College, Chicago, Illinois, 1969-1970, and the University of Illinois, 1971-1972.
Catherine is the founder of Monique’s Place, a nonprofit organization established in memory of her daughter Monique, who passed away due to sickle cell disease on June 14, 2004. The organization is dedicated to raising awareness and providing support for those affected by sickle cell. Known for her compassionate nature, she enjoys traveling, engaging with people, and serving others through her faith and community outreach. Catherine has received numerous accolades and certificates recognizing her dedicated service and contributions through her nonprofit work.
