Dr. Jessica Baldwin
After the passing of her oldest son, Dr. Baldwin dedicated her life to helping others manage and cope with grief which resulted in many exploits such as her first published work, The Adventures of Lil’ Will and Stuffy, the development of a non-profit organization, the Positive Mental Attitude Group (The PMAgroup), and a grief management curriculum, Help Me, Help Me., which is currently being taught at the South Mississippi Correctional Institutions’ Reentry Program where she serves as the director. She has been a devoted, dedicated, and faithful employee, causing her to be nominated as the Employee of the year in 2019. She is a prayer warrior, intercessor, and well-respected clinician who delights in seeing others healed through the power of prayer and a positive mental attitude.
Of her twelve sisters, Jessica is most known as the extraordinary forgiver. Her motto is based on the well-known Negro spiritual, “If I Can Help, just one Somebody, then my living won’t be in vain,” which she exemplifies in daily life. She says…
“I can’t do anything else for my son, but I can help everyone else to the best of my ability, because everyone is somebody’s child.”
